Thank you to everyone who has read and shared my blog posts this fall! It’s been wonderful to get back into writing book reviews and promoting the titles I’ve loved in 2021 and beyond, and I’m looking forward to reading and reviewing even more in 2022.
On that note, the blog is going on a break for the rest of the year. I’m entering my seventh (!) holiday season as an independent bookseller and it is shaping up to be a tough one for retailers worldwide. Between global supply chain problems, paper shortages, post office fuckery, and the ongoing pandemic, things will be interesting. Winter really is coming!
If you decide to buy books for yourself or loved ones this holiday season, please consider shopping at your local bookstore or through sites that support independent stores like Bookshop for physical books and e-books or the wonderful Libro.FM for ethical, DRM-free audiobooks at the same price as Audible. Don’t forget to shop early this year to make sure you get the books you want — but if you need alternatives, don’t hesitate to ask a bookseller!
Enjoyed my content this year and want to support the blog? You can leave me a tip on this page!
See you all in 2022!
